Terms of Service
LockNinja is a service of American Way Business Consulting, a corporation ("we"). By joining, you agree to these terms.
The service
LockNinja answers calls forwarded to a number we provide, gives callers the prices you set, sends jobs to your techs by phone, and, once carriers approve your business for texting, texts your customers about the job. You set what the receptionist says and which prices it gives. Quotes are a service call fee plus a range, never a final price.
Your plan
- $299 per month, billed monthly in advance by Stripe. No setup fee. Your plan renews every month until you cancel.
- Month to month, no contract. Cancel any time by email; the service runs to the end of the paid month.
- New members can get a full refund within 30 days of their first payment. See the refund policy.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate business details, prices and tech contacts, and keep them current.
- Use the service only for your own business and in line with the law, including call recording and texting rules. Our recording notice does not replace the consent rules that apply to your own phone line.
- Check jobs and quotes before acting on them. The receptionist is automated and can make mistakes.
- Customer texting starts once the carriers approve your business for texting.
Calls and recordings
Callers hear that the call may be recorded and that they are speaking with a virtual receptionist. Your call data belongs to you; you can ask us to export or delete it.
Availability
We work to keep LockNinja running around the clock but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Our total liability for any claim, including missed or lost jobs, is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We may pause the service if a payment fails and resume it once paid.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
We may update these terms and will email you before changes take effect.
